The NT Government's flood page says the suburb sits within the relatively large but heavily developed Ludmilla Creek catchment and has experienced flooding frequently since 1990. The NT Place Names Register describes the name as that of a narrow strip of land between the sources of Ludmilla Creek and Sadgroves Creek, which has appeared as such on early plans of Darwin. The flood page names the Ludmilla Creek catchment for the flooding. It does not say which streets or lots are affected, how deep the water has been, or what has been done about it, so this page does not either.
None of these sources mentions floor coatings, so what follows is our inference, not a rule: an open carport or garage slab here has probably been exposed to water more than once, and the person coating it should know that. Tell the provider if the slab has had water on it, ask how they check that it is dry enough to coat, and ask what the quote says if rain delays the work.
